Notice of Proposed Change to the:

Admission and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP)

The Waynesville Housing Authority (WHA) is announcing a public comment period for proposed changes to the WHA Administrative Plan. The purpose of the change is to incorporate regulatory changes. The revised ACOP is available for review at www.waynesvillehousing.org and hard copies are available at the Waynesville Housing Authority Administrative Office located at 48 Chestnut Park Drive.

WHA will receive written comments regarding the proposed changes during a 45-day public comment period to commence October 21, 2021, through December 10, 2024. All written comments are to be mailed or hand-delivered to the following address:

The Waynesville Housing Authority will hold a public hearing in person on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 12:30 pm at the WHA administrative office. The Waynesville Housing Authority Board of Commissioners will vote on the adoption of the revised Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 9:00 am at the Waynesville Housing Authority Administrative Office.
